I am a Memory-Maxing Vacation Visionary! -Ann Crandall, Travel & Cruise Specialist

Since my first cruise in 1983, I have cruised 75 times and already booked on cruises into January 2025! Initially, I took 7-day sailings and increased over the years as my passion for cruising grew. I booked myself in any room that best fit my budget at the time—from basic interior rooms to balcony staterooms. Although I prefer longer cruises and a balcony view, early-on my primary goal was to simply be on the ship. It may seem that I am only a cruise person, but I also love traveling on land! My ever-growing love of travel prompted me to start my own business and become a travel specialist in 2004. It is my desire to share the best of travel with others.

Your passport opens up the world for you to explore and I can help you get there! Through my vast personal experience and professional expertise, I can offer cruises and land packages that suit you. Choose from transatlantic, European, Mediterranean, British Isles, Baltic, Norwegian Fjords, South America, Antarctica, Alaska, Hawaii, New Zealand, Canada, New England, Caribbean and Panama Canal (just to name a few!). Maybe you’ve dreamed of a river cruise or ocean cruise, weekend getaway or world cruise—I am here to partner with you in planning whatever you desire, and your budget and schedule allow.

I have many amazing cruising memories, but my longest cruise was 36 days. We cruised from New Zealand to Canada visiting Australia, French Polynesia, America Samoa and Hawaii. Another 35-day cruise took us from Boston to the Netherlands, then back to Boston—we visited over 20 ports without ever having to get on a plane. On another trip, we cruised to England, then took the Chunnel to Paris to visit the City of Love. I have also traveled to many National Parks and historical landmarks across the U.S and escorted groups to Alaska, Caribbean, Vegas, Atlantic City and the Mall of America. I look forward to creating opportunities for you to spend quality time with family and friends and make meaningful memories together. I offer tips on traveling with elderly parents, solo travelers, couples, families, friends and affinity groups.

In the beginning, I sailed solo several times. As time went by, I began to travel with my husband and our son. Our son’s first cruise was at 2-years old and he has cruised 31 times in the 31 years since then. Travel is invaluable for children as it allows them to explore their world beyond their hometown—and they have so much fun, they don’t realize their learning and expanding their worldview. My son loved the onboard youth programs on various ships through the years. As he advanced into the different age-groups he would tell me, I want to go play with my new friends at the kid's area. He couldn’t wait to join in. He enjoyed the teen clubs and the staff that made up fun ways to get to know the other teen travelers. Even when he turned 18, there were activities and opportunities geared toward young adults from 18-25. As part of the sandwich generation taking care of both our children and aging parents, I have significant experience in multi-generational” travel and would gladly share my knowledge with you.

Cruising is the best of both worlds for a family-vacation—it provides endless activities and adventure for the kids, allows the parents much-needed adult-time and plenty of opportunity to come together for shared experiences. I can plan for your friends or family that live in different parts of the USA to all meet up for a cruise. I have the ability to plan and book group travel for a seminar-at-sea or provide non-profit companies with fund-raising opportunities. I can assist your club in booking a group trip for special events. If you prefer a land vacation, I will partner with you to book an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean. Want to explore the USA or Europe? I can arrange an escorted-group or -private tour, or even book your hotels and transportation to venture out on your own. Understanding your interests, needs and vision will help me curate the perfect vacation for you and your traveling companions.

My love of family and travel combined with helping others spend time with friends and family brings me great joy. Life is too short to be all work and no play. Let me help you make memories that will last a lifetime!
